The Sk8-Hi was introduced in 1978, originally called the Style 38, and featured the now-iconic Vans Sidestripe on an innovative new high-top silhouette. As only the second model to feature the recognizable marker, formerly known as the “jazz stripe,” the Sk8-Hi brought an entirely new look to the Vans family. Honoring that first legendary high-top, the Sk8-Hi Black Black is constructed with a durable black suede and canvas upper, black leather sidestripe, and black rubber sidewalls. This lace-up shoe also features reinforced toe caps, padded collars, and Vans’ signature rubber waffle outsole.
